These terms cover fillachair.com and the Fill a Chair website. By using the service, you agree to them. Contact [email protected].

The service

Fill a Chair helps businesses fill cancelled openings and helps clients claim them. Openings can book out. We do not guarantee a chair. Businesses set their own prices and services. Clients pay the business for the appointment. The prices below are what the business pays Fill a Chair.

What a business pays

A business's first four completed bookings that come through the Fill a Chair app or public list are free. That's 4 in total, not 4 a month. Bookings completed before billing starts, including during the Founding pilot, do not count toward those four. A booking counts 24 hours after the appointment starts, unless it was marked a no-show or cancelled before then. The business can also mark it kept once the appointment time has passed. Bookings from the business's own client list, a rebook prompt, or its booking page don't count and are never charged. A booking from the public openings list does count. A booking completed while the public listing is paused is not charged. A completed app booking that's free while the listing is paused still counts toward the first 4 free bookings. A no-show marked after a fee was charged is refunded.

After those four, the business chooses either $4 per completed booking or $24.99 per month. The monthly plan has no per-booking fee while the subscription is active. The business can switch. Monthly starts when the first $24.99 payment succeeds. Switching back ends the month right away and credits the unused days. Changes take effect right away. The business can cancel the monthly plan anytime. Canceling returns the business to $4 per completed booking. The listing, clients, and history stay.

If a monthly payment fails, we'll retry the card. If it still fails, the business has 14 days to update it before the public listing is paused. Nothing is deleted, and paying turns it back on. Pausing the public listing does not stop broadcasts to the business's own clients.

A business on the Founding pilot is not billed. The pilot does not end on its own. Fill a Chair ends it by hand, and only after recording 30 days' notice. Recording that notice does not, by itself, start billing. Bookings completed before billing starts do not count toward the free four.

Accounts

Business owners open the console with an emailed link. Clients sign in with Google or Apple. We receive the name and email that provider shares, and that account is what a booking is attached to. You are responsible for the account you sign in with.

Acceptable use

Do not abuse the service, scrape it, or use it to spam. We may suspend access if messages or accounts are used in a way that violates carrier rules or the law.

Limitation

The service is provided as is. Fill a Chair is not liable for missed appointments, carrier delivery failures, or indirect damages, to the extent the law allows.
